COACH OF THE YEAR NOMINATION PROCESS
SAC HC annually recognizes a boy’s and girl’s coach of the year in both its Recreational and Travel programs.
Players, parents, coaches, SAC/HC administrators, or any other individual who has direct knowledge of the nominee’s performance can make nominations. The deadline for submission of nominations is April 31st.
The awards will be presented at the Club’s annual meeting in early June.
The nomination for Coach of the Year should be based on more than a good won/loss record.
Consideration should be given to individuals with attributes such as a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate players; ability to instill a passion for the game in our youth players; demonstrated leadership and sportsmanship; coaching contributions over a period of time with demonstrated positive impact; and general contributions to youth soccer in Columbia and Howard County. Nominations should contain specific examples of how this coach is making a difference and how he/she is a positive role model.
Nominations should be no more than two (2) pages long and submitted to:
