Amanda Post Item Drive (2017)

The Soccer Association of Columbia/Howard County and Elite Tournaments are proud to announce a new initiative that will take place during the Amanda Post Memorial Tournament. We will be opening up an item collection that will benefit the Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai.

While Amanda was battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia, instead of playing soccer, she would spend months at a time at the Children’s Hospital at Sinai. During her time spent at the facility Amanda touched many people’s lives and went on to help raise funds for the hospital’s expansion, despite the personal struggle she was facing. In memory of Amanda’s strength and effort, we would like to invite you all to donate items that will benefit the children and families receiving treatment at that same facility. The Samuelson Children’s Hospital at Sinai helps patients fight a wide variety of childhood illnesses and treats patients on both a local and national level. We appreciate the testament to Amanda’s memory and thank you all for helping her passion for others live on through this generous act of kindness.

All items can be dropped off at Covenant Park during both weekends of the Amanda Post Memorial Tournament. If you have any questions or would like to donate and cannot attend the event, please contact Cara Martin at
